Easter Weekend 2010

Hey, gang!

It's about time for our Easter Roundup! This year the Traveling DO Cookers and the Hill Country Chapters will co-host the roundup. Again,we will have it at TECABOCA (TExas CAtholic BOys CAmp) just outside of Mountain Home, TX, on Hwy 27. Our new TECABOCA Director has imposed a few changes. Lodging will be available in the Main Lodge at $26 a night or a donation of DO cooking equipment so we can set up a program teaching DO cooking to our campers, scouts, and anyone interested in our delightful hobby.

Please let me know if you need lodging at TECABOCA. Call me at home (830)896-4059 for reservations and PLEASE do not call TECABOCA for lodging arrangements. We do not supply bed linen for our single beds but arrangements can be made.

Approximately 3 miles from TECABOCA is Johnson Creek RV Park (830)367-3300 for those who would rather stay there.

I will open TECABOCA April 1 (Thursday) for early arrivals but not before 2:00 p.m. please. Thursday evening relax, campfire, enjoy. Friday more great new arrivals, setup cook areas, games, fishing,hiking, campfire. Saturday same as Friday but with brunch at 9:30 a.m., main DO dinner at 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., campfire and happy hour at 7:00 p.m., Sunday brunch at 9:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m., Noon will be pack up, 2:00 p.m.will be hugs, tears, handshakes, and head' em home.
