What We Do:

We have organized local LSDOS chapters that provide to members:

Family fun

Teaching opportunities for experienced cooks

Demonstrations

Formal cooking classes

Teachers for novices

Organized family cook-outs

We help preserve the historical aspects of this several hundred year old cooking technique.

We provide the opportunity for people who are interested to participate in historical events, outdoor recreational expositions, and community educational activities.

We offer membership to Boy and Girl Scout Troops.

We Invite You:

To join in on the fun

To learn how to cook in a Dutch oven on your patio or by a campfire

To pass on to others your acquired skill in the art
